November 2024!! It's the month of gratitude --- what are you most grateful for?
As I have been putting this newsletter together, I'm reminded how much my day can be impacted when I begin with a grateful heart. I woke up, grabbed my journal, and wrote a list of things I am so grateful for.
My dream was to create a safe house for women and children coming out of domestic abuse.. to purchase a property and develop something amazing there, including how to become self-sustainable and teach entrepreneurial skills. I was in a financial place to be able to see this dream come alive, and then my divorce took that from me, and I was forced to start again.
But here we are. It's like most big dreams, right? A lot of the big successes have their foundation in a garage or basement, or in our case -- a home. I'm grateful for my children and the extras who come through our home. I am constantly growing as a mother and caregiver to those who just need their little hearts loved, healed, and protected.
Today, I am grateful for the reminder that God created the passions in my heart and the path may not be what I imagined, but nothing can take away His purpose for my life.
